Looting and Combat system
Our main features for this game are only 3:
- A combat system
- A looting system
- Multiplayer
Keeping things simple can be powerful and enable scalability. For example, we want to release for browsers but the simple game design and technical simplicity enables us to later release on mobile too, and even to consoles if we wanted to. If anything, it should be easly adaptable.
Looting system
Our looting system consists on approaching an island and automatically start looting it. This enables us to scale it if we want later, like looting battles or different kinds of rewards and challenges to loot. And for prototyping purposes, we just want to do the very least and move forward.
Combat system
Similar to the looting system, when two players get close together, combat starts and it proceeds automatically. Again, easily scalable in the way that we can proceed on different paths to make it enjoyable, fun, emotional, or whatever path we want to take... BUT, decisions will be taken after testing, we want to enable creativity to flow.
Our main objective is to play it asap so we can start having fun, and even allow others to play and give feedback.
